Recovery is not just rebuilding structures. It is healing relationships with ʻāina.

Engaging in land-based healing practices has profound benefits for both the environment and the people who tend it. When we restore the land, we restore ourselves. Our Community ʻĀina Days bring people together to clean, plant, and reconnect with the natural spaces that define Lahaina.

These gatherings happen regularly at sites across West Maui. They are open to all community members, fire survivors, and supporters who want to contribute to the physical and spiritual restoration of Lahaina's lands.

Rooted in Hawaiian values and the principle of malama ʻāina, caring for the land, these days of service strengthen community bonds, support mental wellness, and ensure that the recovery of Lahaina's people is inseparable from the recovery of the land they call home.
